<image:title>Recent News - Funding Kaze’s Next Two Years of Studies - Here in Rwanda life is becoming worse every day, because of effects of Covid -19 pandemic. Food, health services and schools had become expensive. It’s not the same as in European or American countries, because some people who offered those had stopped working and those who are working and those who are working ask too much prices to give those services to people. It takes two years for getting Bachelor degree and one year takes 3 semester. This college is located in the city and is private so it has no accommodation. As I told you before about the way I can conduct my studies, the easiest is to find accommodation near school but It could not be possible to find a cheap house near the school, I can find it away from school and use a bus (Tap and Go card) or Motorbike to get to school.</image:title>

<image:title>Recent News - Update from Davidetta - The school year wasn’t bad, at least I improved a bit in my grades than previous semesters. I had very few challenges but I hope to improved on them for instance, transportation, feeding and others school requirements but I am glad I was able to work with in my means to get through with the semester. I am very grateful for the help you people have provided for me during the last two semesters, the semesters was amazing and I had time to attend all of my classes, I wish I could volunteer with you guys during vacation to prove what I have learned and to help others.</image:title>

<image:title>Recent News - New Scholarship for Michelle - I believe communication is an avenue that meets my need of expressing myself, being creative and constantly exploring new things. I am particularly interested in making a career in marketing communication as I have been involved in advertising my church events by designing posters, flyers, newsletters and other publications. Apart from this, I am also interested in public speaking as I like to do independent research on varied topics and then explain it to people. Moreover, I express myself through photography and my writings on social networks. It is something that I love to do and would like to pursue in life.</image:title>

<image:title>Recent News - New Scholarship in Liberia for Davidetta - “I have found out that this scholarship will be a great opportunity in achieving my educational and professional goals. I am a Liberian, I live with my mother who is a single parent and uneducated. I grew in a very lonely home, and growing up as a child, my mother had to sacrifice all of her time and resources to send my siblings and I to school. I am the oldest of the three of us. My dream is to become a professional person, to make a difference in my world. My career goal is to become a social worker that will enable me to explore my profession to help deliver services to people whether poor or rich.”</image:title>

      <image:title>Our Story - Helping More Women</image:title>
<image:caption>We created the Women's Education Initiative to offer funding for women who have the desire but not the resources to pursue their dreams of a college education. Candidates should pursue a profession in which they in turn can give back to their communities. Women's Education Initiative is seeking candidates who want to become, for example, teachers, nurses, doctors or other public servants. We are currently sponsoring candidates in Liberia and Rwanda and seeking future candidates in other countries.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - An Update from Kaze!</image:title>
<image:caption>After graduating and receiving her Advanced (A1) Diploma in electronics and electrical engineering, WEI agreed to continue to support Kaze in going back school to get her bachelor’s degree in IT/ Information Management at the University of Kigali. She graduated on May 31, 2024. Excerpt from a Dec. 24, 2024 letter from Kaze: “As we approach the festive season, I wanted to take a moment to convey my heartfelt gratitude for everything you’ve done for me. This year has been truly wonderful for me, thanks to your tremendous support. As you know, I’ve finished my bachelor’s degree! This feat would not be possible without your generosity, encouragement and financial assistance during my academic career. Looking ahead, I’ve got some exciting news to share: I plan to start a small business that teaches children STEM. I’ve always wanted to help youngsters study these fields, and I believe they are a crucial area of development in today’s environment. I want to thank you again for all your help. Your confidence in me has meant more than words can say.”</image:caption>
